Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
A cookie is a small file your browser keeps for a website, so the site can remember you between pages. Below is every kind of cookie Rank Articles sets, and how to switch them off.
Cookies the site needs to work
These are set by the site itself. Most are only set for people who log in or leave a comment; an ordinary reader usually receives none of them.
| Cookie | Set by | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
wordpress_test_cookie |
this site (WordPress) | checks your browser accepts cookies when you log in | session |
wordpress_logged_in_* |
this site (WordPress) | keeps a logged-in user signed in | session, or 14 days with “Remember me” |
wp-settings-* |
this site (WordPress) | remembers a logged-in user’s dashboard preferences | 1 year |
comment_author_* |
this site (WordPress) | remembers your name, e-mail and website for your next comment — only if you tick the box to save them | 1 year |
Analytics cookies
None. We do not currently set analytics cookies.
Advertising cookies
None. The site shows no advertising today.
Cookies from embedded content
Videos and other content embedded from other sites may set that site’s cookies when the content loads or plays.
How to control cookies
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies: look under Settings → Privacy in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. Blocking the site’s own cookies may stop logging in or commenting from working; blocking the others changes nothing you can see.
For how we handle personal information more generally, see our Privacy Policy. Questions: e-mail admin@rankarticles.com.
